Hi, I’m Alyssa, the owner of Alyssa Care Co. I’m a Health Care Assistant and an LPN student based in Nanaimo, BC. I started Alyssa Care Co. because caregiving is something I truly care about. I love helping people feel safe, comfortable, respected, and supported in their own homes.
My philosophy: more than just tasks
To me, caregiving is not just about completing tasks. It is about building trust, creating real relationships, and making each client feel valued as a person. Through my experience in care, I’ve learned that the little things matter. Taking time to listen, learning someone’s routine, being patient, sharing a conversation, and showing up with kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day.
